Sub-Committees
Constitutional Committee
The Constitutional Committee is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and recommending amendments to the Institute's Constitution, policies, and governance framework. The committee ensures that all activities, decisions, and operations of the Institute comply with the Constitution, applicable laws, and principles of good corporate governance.
Stakeholder Committee
The Stakeholder Committee is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, educational institutions, industry partners, professional bodies, and the public. The committee promotes collaboration and engagement to advance the objectives of the Institute and the real estate profession.
Investments Committee
The Investments Committee oversees the Institute's investment strategy and financial growth initiatives. It evaluates investment opportunities, monitors the performance of investment portfolios, and makes recommendations aimed at ensuring the long-term financial sustainability and growth of the Institute.
Estate Agency Committee
The Estate Agency Committee focuses on matters relating to estate agency practice and professionalism. The committee promotes high standards of ethics, competency, compliance, and service delivery among estate agents, while also identifying industry challenges and recommending solutions to enhance the sector.
Publicity, Communication and Public Relations Committee
The Publicity, Communication and Public Relations Committee is responsible for managing the Institute's public image, communication strategies, and media relations. The committee promotes the Institute's activities, achievements, and initiatives through various communication platforms and works to enhance public awareness of the real estate profession.
Valuation Committee
The Valuation Committee addresses issues relating to property valuation standards, methodologies, and professional practice. The committee promotes excellence in valuation services, provides technical guidance, and engages with stakeholders on matters affecting valuers and the valuation profession.
Property Management Committee
The Property Management Committee focuses on matters concerning property management practice and standards. The committee promotes professional property management, develops best practice guidelines, identifies emerging industry trends, and advocates for the interests of property management professionals.
Member Welfare Committee
The Member Welfare Committee is responsible for promoting the well-being, support, and engagement of members. The committee develops initiatives that enhance member satisfaction, fosters professional networking, and addresses matters affecting members' welfare and professional interests.

Learning and Development Committee
The Learning and Development Committee is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Institute's education, training, and professional development programmes. The committee manages the planning and administration of Full Membership Examinations, identifies training needs, develops learning initiatives, and ensures that members have access to opportunities that enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional competence. The committee also works to maintain high professional standards by supporting continuous learning and the development of future real estate professionals.
Mentorship and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee
The Mentorship and CPD Committee promotes professional growth through structured mentorship programmes and continous professional development activities. The committee facilitates knowledge transfer between experienced and emerging professionals, monitors CPD requirements, and supports lifelong learning within the profession.
Youth Council Committee
The Youth Council Committee represents the interests of young professionals and students pursuing careers in real estate. The committee promotes youth participation in the Institute, develops leadership opportunities, encourages innovation, and creates pathways for young people to enter and thrive in the real estate industry.
REIB COURSES
The business of real estate has changed drastically in the 26 plus years REIB has been in existence. With express mention of what minimum qualifications are needed in the REP Act, for one to be considered with admission into REIB, we have taken the decision to help pre-existing and practicing professionals to keep them abreast with educational courses.
